Lil’ Beanz of Cuteness
Lil’ Bean is an incredibly sweet doe who has blessed us with the most darling little babies. Her mixed kits are smaller, or more compact than our othger Flemish Giant mixes. Their colours, ranging from fawn through gold tipped and steels are absolutely gorgeous, and she just had a couple grey kits with blue eyes that will just melt your heart! Our beloved Mommakin passed away suddenly. It has taken a little time to grieve and put together this video to remember her sweetness by. Rolo is our cuddliest bunny at the Bunny Zen. She loves to be held and she has the softest gold tipped steel fur to pet. Rolo recently had her first litter, but due to complications, she lost all her babies but two. The two little lucky survivors are taking after their mom; with all her snuggling and extra attention, they are turning out to be little cuddle butts just like her!
Oreo is one of our sweetest Bucks at the Bunny Zen. He’s such a good boy we made this short video in his honor. He loves to give little kisses by bumping noses, he uses his litter box, and he lets us trim his little bunny nails. Good little bunnies like this deserve to be recognized for setting such a good example for the others!
Babies have arrived at the Bunny Zen! All our bunnies are hand raised, socialized, and they LOVE attention and cuddles!
Being Flemish Giant and Checkered Giant mixes, they will grow to be larger than a dwarf or lop rabbit; they can be house trained like a cat, and free roamed in your home. You can meet all our bunny parents on site at our hobby farm in central Alberta. They are a very docile mix, which gives them a calm, relaxed, zen-like demeanor. They are super easy to care for and will enrich your life in so many ways! Most of ours are white, checkered white, black, fawn, or gold tipped steel in colouring.

We’re excited to introduce our bunnies! Each one has their own little personality and quirks, which makes them all the more fun to love!
The ducklings are getting all their feathers, so we can take them outside for little trips in the snow now! Here’s a little video of our young ducks, the first time they see snow!
It’s a frosty, cold January day on the Bunny Zen farm, so we’re going to go on a little indoor field trip with the ducklings. Join us!

One of my favourite parts of the morning routine here is bath time for the ducklings. They love to splash in the water and preen themselves when they get out. Once they’re all dry they want snuggles in my lap, and they wiggle up, and I couldn’t be happier to oblige!
Today we introduced them to their new bigger brooder box and they seem pretty happy to have a little more space. 🙂
